Our Team:

Hackensack Physical Therapy was founded by Ms. Magda Dunn, RPT, one of the pioneers of physical therapy in the State of New Jersey. Her vision has grown into a well respected and recognized rehabilitation program.

Ron Pearl, LNHA and Ferdie Quijano, LPT acquired Hackensack Physical Therapy on December, 2003. As principals in this newly created partnership, they continue to provide Physical and Occupational Therapy focusing on quality rather than patient quantity. The treatment programs are designed and individualized for full functional rehabilitation.

Mr. Pearl is an exceptional healthcare administrator with over 30 years experience. He has owned and directed long term and sub-acute care facilities in Bergen County. He successfully provides his expertise in rehabilitation management and coordination of healthcare services in the community.

Mr. Quijano, is recognized as a highly skilled physical therapist with over 15 years of clinical practice. He has vast experience in pain management, sports injuries, cardiac and neurological conditions. He is the recipient of New Jersey Senate Citation Award 2000 and Passaic County Constables given on October, 2000.

Maria Pelissier, Office Manager, is working in rehabilitation field for over 35 years. Her organization skills and knowledge regarding healthcare systems and insurance help simplify patient needs.

Angela Prestol, Rehab Technician, has 6 years of experience in HPT. A very hardworking individual with warm personality help enhance the rehabilitation experience.
