Our Team:

Hackensack Physical Therapy was founded by Ms. Magda Dunn, RPT, one of the pioneers of physical therapy in the State of New Jersey. Her vision has grown into a well respected and recognized rehabilitation program.

Ron Pearl, LNHA and Dr. Ferdie Quijano, PT, DPT acquired Hackensack Physical Therapy on December, 2003. As principals in this facility, they continue to provide Physical Therapy focusing on quality rather than patient quantity. The treatment programs are designed and individualized for full functional rehabilitation based on current evidence based practice.

Mr. Pearl is an exceptional healthcare administrator with over 30 years experience. He has owned and directed long term and sub-acute care facilities in Bergen County. He successfully provides his expertise in rehabilitation management and coordination of healthcare services in the community.

Dr. Quijano, is recognized as a highly skilled physical therapist with over 24 years of clinical practice. He has vast experience in pain management, sports and soft tissues injuries, cardiac and neurological conditions. He is the recipient of New Jersey Senate Citation Award 2000 and Passaic County Constables given on October, 2000. He obtained his Doctorate Degree of Physical Therapy in University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Angela Prestol, Office Manager, is working in rehabilitation field for over 25 years. Her organization skills and knowledge regarding healthcare systems and insurance help simplify patient needs.
